Singapore, 16 January 2026 Virtuos, a leading video game development company, today announced the appointment of Karl Stricker as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), effective as of December 1, 2025. His appointment supports Virtuos’ efforts to strengthen its global presence and partner relations, advancing the company’s ambition to become the world’s top external game developer.

With over 20 years of experience in the games and technology industries, Karl brings a strong strategic perspective on partnerships, growth, and a proven ability to unite cross-functional teams. Prior to joining Virtuos, he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development at Xsolla, a global video game commerce company. He also held leadership roles at Microsoft as part of the Xbox organization for more than a decade, working closely with some of the world’s largest game creators across publishing, digital storefronts, portfolio strategy, and third-party partnerships. In his publishing role at Xbox, he supported the launch and growth of titles such as Age of Empires: Definitive Edition, Super Lucky’s Tale, Ryse: Son of Rome, Quantum Break, Sunset Overdrive and more.

Additionally, Karl brings early-stage platform experience with Amazon, where he was a founding member of Amazon Luna and led business development for games on the Amazon Appstore.

Karl succeeds Jake DiGennaro, who will leverage his deep organizational knowledge to drive operational initiatives that bring the company’s “One Team” vision to life—ensuring everyone at Virtuos plays flawlessly together, both internally and with clients.
