Singapore, 9 March 2026 — Virtuos, a leading video game development company, today announced the appointment of three independent members to its Board of Directors: Andrew Sheppard, Carmen Wee, and Matt Bilbey. Their addition supports Virtuos’ strategic roadmap to become the world’s leading external game developer.

Based in the United States, Andrew Sheppard has over 20 years of experience building and scaling multi-billion-dollar gaming and consumer businesses. He currently serves as Managing Director at Transcend, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on games. He also holds board positions in public and startup companies, providing financial and product foresight essential for navigating emerging technologies and evolving market dynamics.
Carmen Wee, based in Singapore, is a C-suite HR leader and board director with over 25 years of experience in international business and large-scale digital transformation. She currently leads Carmen Wee & Associates and serves on both public and private boards, offering expertise in governance and organizational transformation.
Matt Bilbey brings over three decades of leadership in the global games industry. As Executive Vice President of Strategic Growth at Electronic Arts, he drove company-wide strategies across platform growth, player networks, competitive gaming, Asia operations, and new ventures. Previously, as Chief Operating Officer of EA’s Worldwide Studios, he led a global development organization of 5,000 people across North America, Europe, and Asia. Matt also scaled the EA SPORTS FIFA franchise from $200 million to over $1.5 billion in revenue, including the creation of FIFA Ultimate Team—one of the most successful live service models in entertainment. Based in Canada, he is currently a Partner at London Venture Partners (LVP), a leading venture capital firm in gaming.
They join the existing Board comprising investor Guy d’Auriol and independent directors Alain Lejeune and François Candelon.
“The games industry is changing rapidly, so the way we create and collaborate must continually improve. Andrew, Carmen, and Matt each bring the expertise and perspectives required for the future of game development. With human artistry at the heart of our industry, Virtuos is investing in people development and operational excellence to ensure the success of both our teams and partners. Having trusted advisors who are attuned to this interplay supports our sustained and effective growth,” said Gilles Langourieux, CEO of Virtuos.
This announcement will be followed by Virtuos’ participation at the GDC Festival of Gaming 2026, where the company reaffirms its commitment to engaging with partners to bring innovative games and immersive experiences to gamers worldwide.
